In this article, we'll discuss:
45-day risk-free trial
MDHearing models are programmed to meet the needs of 94% of people with hearing loss. However, the best way to see if hearing aids will work for you is to try them in your everyday life.
Our 45-day trial allows you make sure the fit and sound is right for you. It also gives your brain time to adjust to the new sounds it's hearing.
Studies have shown it takes 21 days to form a new habit or make a lifestyle change. That change could be anything from eating more fruits and vegetables, sticking to an exercise routine, or getting used to wearing hearing aids.
Unlike eyeglasses—where everything comes into focus when you put them on—hearing is a more nuanced process. You will be hearing many new sounds, and your brain needs to relearn how to prioritize the wide range of sounds it hasn't heard in while.
The more you wear your hearing aids, the faster your brain will adapt to them.
