MDHearing previously identified a software issue that affected the ability to personalize the VOLT MAX (2nd generation) hearing aids. This issue has been resolved in newer versions of the device. Any current VOLT MAX 2 models sold now support full personalization and programming functionality.
However, some older units may still be impacted by the original software limitation, and while those were sold at a discounted price due to this issue, they are unable to be updated to allow personalization. If you are using one of these earlier versions and feel you would like access to personalization, please contact our customer support team. We'll be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
The affected models of the VOLT MAX 2 still connect to most smartphones/tablets and allow your mobile device to function as a remote control to change the programs and volume.
In personalization is not available on your device, please refer to your user manual to determine the best program for your hearing loss.
