How do I connect my hearing aid to the MDHearing app?

Connecting your hearing aids to the MDHearing app is simple and only takes a few minutes.

Creating an account

1. Click on "Create New Account".
2. Enter your email address or cell phone number, and choose a password.
3. Click on "Create New Account" again.
   • If you entered a cell phone number, check your text messages for the confirmation text.
   • If you have entered an email address, check your email for the confirmation email.
4. Click on "Complete Verification".
5. Return to the MDHearing app. Click "Continue setup" and follow the on-screen instructions to continue set up.

Personalizing the hearing aids

1. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue with your personalization profile.
   • This will walk you through a "hearing check" that plays a series of tones. Based on your responses to these tones, the app creates a unique hearing profile for your specific hearing needs and automatically adjusts your hearing aids based on this profile.
2. After the personalization process, click "Finish and customize".
3. Enter your birth date and gender for accurate personalization.

Congratulations! This completes the set up and personalization of your hearing aids.
