Charging your hearing aids is easy and convenient. You can plug in the charger while you sleep, power your device overnight, and wake up ready to enjoy another day of crystal-clear hearing. You can also charge your hearing aids on-the-go with the portable charging case.
In this article, we'll discuss:
How to Charge the VOLT (4th Generation)
- Plug the charging case into a standard outlet. The light (LED3) on the side of the case (next to the charging cord port) will flash green to indicate the case is charging. It will turn solid green to indicate it's fully charged.
- Place the hearing aids in the charging case, tucking the tips and stabilizer bars into the well. The left hearing aid should be placed in the left side of the charger, and the right hearing aid in the right side.
- The light next to the left charging port (LED1) and/or right charging port (LED2) will turn white to indicate the hearing aids are charging. The lights will turn off when the hearing aids are fully charged and ready to use.
Charging Case LEDs
The charging case has three LED lights indicating the charging status of the hearing aids and charging case.
- LED 1 = Left hearing aid (positioned next to the left side charging port)
- LED 2 = Right hearing aid (positioned next to the right side charging port)
- LED 3 = Charging case (positioned on the side of the case, next to the charging cord port)
Charging Time
It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge the VOLT 4. Once the battery is full, a sensor stops the charging process so there is no risk of battery degeneration if the VOLT 4 is left on the charger.
On average, a full charge lasts 20 hours.
The charging case can charge the VOLT 4 up to three (3) times without being plugged in. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the case.
Low Battery Warnings
When the hearing aid battery is low, 3 long beeps repeat every 5 minutes until it fully depletes.
When the charging case battery is low, LED3 will flash green 10 times and then turn off, indicating it has depleted.
