This feature is for MDHearingAid (previously LifeEar) CORE users only.
If you are not completely satisfied with the sound after having completed the hearing personalization, our hearing specialists can adjust the settings for you through the MDHearing app. Let us know the issue you are facing and then a specialist will contact you and remotely adjust your hearing profile.
Common issues include:
- Volume is too soft or too loud
- Sound may seem a bit tinny or muffled to you, and voices do not sound crisp and clear.
- Background noise is either too distracting or too much is getting filtered out
- Other questions or problems you would like solved
To get started, go to the “Support” tab at the bottom right-hand corner of the app screen. Scroll down and select "Fine Tune Assistance".
The Fine Tuning Assistance starts with a questionnaire to help us identify the problem. Once you have completed the questions, your request will be read by an MDHearingAid specialist. If they can help you directly based on your answers, they will fine-tune your settings and send you a new version of your personal profile to try. If they have additional questions, they will give you a call.
For questions you need solved quickly, you can also call our customer service. We aim to process all Fine-Tuning requests within 1-3 business days.
