Hearing aids come in two basic styles: those that fit in the ear and those that sit behind the ear. Due to the small size of in-the-ear (ITE) hearing aids, they have a slightly smaller fitting range than our behind-the-ear (BTE) models.
In this article, we'll discuss:
In-the-Ear (ITE) Hearing Loss Fitting Range
Our in-the-ear hearing aids are suitable for mild and some moderate hearing loss.
Behind-the-Ear (BTE) Hearing Loss Fitting Range
Our behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aids have a slightly higher fitting range and are suitable for all mild to moderate hearing loss.
Our hearing aids cannot fit severe or profound hearing loss. If you are not sure where your hearing loss falls, please contact our licensed hearing professionals.
